Stick with SWE
Do you know a high school junior or senior interested in pursuing engineering and learning more about how to get involved in the Society of Women Engineers? Look no further than Stick with SWE!
SWS is an event aimed at high school juniors and seniors to learn more about pursuing a STEM degree. High school students were paired with a current SWE and CSU undergraduate student and got to observe classes, learn about campus life, and learned about SWE. SWS is a great opportunity for high school students to connect with engineering students, learn about how to get involved in college, and get a personal look into a day-in-the-life of an engineer at CSU.

Stick with SWE 2022
Thank you to all attendees, parents, volunteers, CSU faculty and staff, and planning committee members; we couldn't have done it without you!
This year 16 high school students were able to come to CSU and shadow CSU SWE members for one full day. They attended classes, watched demos, and toured labs and dorms all while building meaningful connections with one another and their collegiate hosts. Parents of our attendees had the opportunity to attend a parent panel consisting of SWE members, college of engineering staff and faculty to learn about SWE and engineering at CSU and ask all the questions they could.
We were so grateful to be back in person and we hope to see you again next Spring!

Thank you for attending SWS 2021!
SWE at CSU hosted the first virtual Stick With SWE (SWS) event on Friday, March 26th, 2021!
SWS had parent and industry member panels. The parent panel was available to parents to learn more about SWE, CSU, and how to support their child in pursuing a STEM degree. The industry member panel consisted of women industry members giving an insight into their path from college to career and what they do at their job.
We hope you were able to connect with collegiate members, gain advice from our industry panel, and learn a little bit more about SWE and Engineering!
Please keep up with us through social media, our website, and our emails for information on our next SWS event!
