CSU SWE Mentoring Program
The Mentoring Program is the legacy of past CSU SWE president, Hannah Mikelson, in conjunction with her mentor, Judy Gates.
An excerpt from the Mentor Program of Region i webpage:
We are excited to participate in the launch of the first ever official SWE Region i mentorship
program. The purpose of the program is to connect women from different stages in their SWE
career to develop leaders, train members in mentoring skills, and to create good succession
planning for the sections, regions, and the society as a whole. In short to “help mentees thrive
as SWE leaders”.

CSU SWE welcome questions, comments, and suggestions for our mentorship program. Please contact CSU SWE at firstname.lastname@example.org
CSU SWE officers participated in the mentor program beginning in the fall of 2015. In the program, a collegiate member was matched with a local professional. The program allowed students to network and gain quality career and life advice. Due to overwhelming success, the program has been expanded and is now offered to all members as of spring, 2016. We hope to see the program grow even more in the years to come!
