About the Society of Women Engineers
Welcome to the Colorado State University Section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Founded in 1950, SWE is an international not-for-profit organization devoted to establishing engineering as a desirable career aspiration for women. The SWE mission is to stimulate women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expanding the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity.
